The Walking Dead - end of season two
Well season two wrapped up on Sunday. I got a little bored with the lack of action at the farm but the final 3 episodes really ramped it up. Now I have some advice for some members of the Walking Dead group:
Lori - The zombie apocalypse is NOT an excuse to fall back into passe gender roles. If you would have told me that cooking and cleaning was women’s work and to leave the zombie killing to the men, I would have punched you in the neck. And if you believe in “women’s work” why aren’t you watching your damn kid? You NEVER know where Carl is. He is off running around taunting zombies and spying on people and you just act like it is everyone else’s job to watch him. You sure are quick to butt all into everyone’s business but need to mind your own. I find myself wishing the walkers would get you. And you practically tell Rick to kill Shane and then you act all disgusted and freaked out when he does?? What the hell is wrong with you woman? Damn!
T-Dog - Why are you hardly every around when the shit goes down? If you want make it to your next birthday you need to pitch in a little more and make yourself more important to the well-being of the group.
Carl - Hey asshole! I know that this sucks but damnation! Can you TRY to not act like a big baby who needs all the attention. There is a lot of shit going down, in case you haven’t noticed, and you are not helping anything when you keep running off. And no matter what they told you: it IS your fault that the walker got Dale.
Daryl - In my opinion, you don’t need to change a thing. Keep on keeping on.
Carol - Really? You are so upset that Rick didn’t tell you what the CDC guy said that you are ready to risk going off on your own. What difference would it have made if he did tell you. As far as I can tell you have no skills at all. Have you ever killed a walker? I have never even seen you cook or scavenge for supplies. Somehow I don’t think you would make it very far. Even with Daryl. You would just get him killed.
Rick - Thank you for telling the group the way things are going to be from here out. It was about time. They look to you for an answer to every problem but then bitch about your answers. Maybe you should kill a few more of them.
All of you - Why do the walkers keep being able to sneak up on you guys? I heard ya’ll discuss lookouts but you never really use them effectively. When you do actually keep watch it seems that you just peer off in the same direction and then there is a walker right behind you. And quit trying to make everything normal. Constantly using the generator for lights and hot water at the farm was wasteful and unnecessary. Also, you should be scavenging every car, house and shop you pass if it is not swarmed with walkers. Stop at every gun store to stock up on ammo if it hasn’t already been looted. How about some machetes and swords? Those don’t make any noise and are useful if/when you run out of ammo. And look for some more fuel efficient vehicles. Gas if a very finite resource and I would think that a 30 year old truck would use a lot of it.
